IODO BAC SOLUTION

IODO BAC SOLUTION

Disinfectant wth Broad Spectrum Antiseptic Power

Ensures the potent antiseptic activity of iodine through its slow elimination. The iodophore solution cleans the skin at the same time that the available iodine exerts its antibacterial effect. It has the advantages of iodine but no local irritant action. Its tinctorial action is mild and easily washed off with water. It is non-toxic by ingestion. It presents excellent solubility in water, reduced reactivity with metals, enhanced germicidal activity even at low concentrations. It is effective at low temperatures. It is not inactivated in the presence of organic matter as it happens with other disinfectants and penetrates deeply into cracks, crevices and roughness. It has high penetrating power, easily removes dirt, is not affected by water hardness or detergents.
